My Independent Writing: Fantasy
I was SO excited when I found out that for our independent writing piece we could write anything we wanted - including my favorite genre...fantasy! I have to admit that I liked my other fantasy piece the best, but I thought this one turned out really good too. I won't tell you what it's about here so you can have some more time to read! Enjoy!

Sensational work, I loved the way you used a lot of good word choices and words that are not used a lot. The detail were also really detailed because you described the monster more in a way of using the senses. I think you should work on your conclusion a little better because I caught a few punctuation mistakes. Otherwise it was really really interesting and fluent work.
ReplyDeleteI really liked your story, for several reasons. One, it wasn't too short or too long. Also, it contained a lot of detail that made it very interesting. Another thing is that it had a lot of logic to it. One thing that you could improve on though is describing more monsters, because when I read about the monsters I really was curious to know more about them. Otherwise, I think that you did a really good job!
ReplyDeleteI like how you didn't need a lot of dialogue to tell your story, you used some very strong and thoughtful words that made your writing very clear. The closet reminded me of The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. I like that your story had a fast pace and was very exciting. I think that you could work on making your plot a little more unpredictable and more complicated. Overall, this was a very enjoyable piece of writing.
